Cabildo Indigena de los Pastos en Bogotá
The indigenous community of the Pastos has its origins in southern Colombia in the Department of Nariño, part of the department of Putumayo and northern Ecuador, sharing boundaries with other indigenous peoples such as the Kofan, Awa, Eperara Siapirara, Inga and Kamentsa. In northern Ecuador, it shares boundaries with the Karanqui, Otavalo and Natabuela peoples. The Pastos have been present in the city of Bogotá for more than 50 years, intensifying massively in the last two decades, when in the original territories the armed conflict increases and they are forced to leave to different places of the national territory such as the Republic of Ecuador for the protection of their lives. Other consequences of displacement are the lack of territorial conditions, education (higher education), employment, monocultures, among others, which encourage and motivate migration for some community members and indigenous families.

Asociación Comunitaria de turismo AKUNTUR
The community tourism association AKUNTUR is made up of groups, associations, councils, community action boards and/or indigenous entities that have been developing economic alternatives around tourism. Understand it as an activity; not only the visit of people, but cultural processes, transformation of medicinal plants, indigenous companies within the territory, traditional doctors, indigenous guard, artisans, among others. Which seek to preserve living spaces, seek collective well-being, without damaging or affecting indigenous processes and seeking for people to take away the message of the care and survival of the people. We are not looking for mass tourism, but for self-discovery, learning, preservation of the pacha mama, respect for the uses and customs and care for them, without them being used in other spaces for personal benefit.
